We hold regular meetings in different locations, mainly in the Ireland's Ancient East area. The above photo was taken in the Station House Hotel in Kilmessan, Co. Meath.

We have met in the Monasterboice Inn, City North Hotel and the Conyngham Arms in Slane and the Headfort Arms in Kells.

Meath Partnership (Leader) launch the certified LOCAL TOUR GUIDE TRAINING programme, open to exisitng local tour guides and those interested in tour guiding.

A group of certified guides get together and set up the Meath Tour Guides Association, with a constitution, insurance and hold first AGM.

Change of name from the Meath Tour Guides Association (MTGA) to the Independent Tour Guides Association (ITGA) to facilitate membership of tour guides throughout the Republic of Ireland.

The Independent Tour Guides Association welcomes membership applications from all over Ireland, and each application will be considered on its merit.
