A professional tourist guide since 2014, I’m a native of Cork with a background in French and archaeology. After 13 years abroad, I returned to raise my family in West Cork. My journey has taken me from teaching English overseas to guiding guests through Ireland’s rich landscapes and layered history. With a passion for culture, I explored library studies, social media marketing, archaeology, and journalism before finding my calling in heritage interpretation. I honed my skills as a coach guide for eight years, retrained as a professional driver in 2022, and established Jessie’s Tours of Ireland in 2024, offering bespoke limousine tours. I’ve also trained aspiring guides on national courses, combining educational expertise with storytelling flair. Now living in Ireland’s oldest city—Waterford—I enjoy exploring Ireland’s Ancient East. When not guiding, you’ll find me hiking, sea swimming, playing pétanque, or strumming my guitar.
